Kuranda makes raised beds with a frame and fabric surface. They keep your dog off the floor and are easy to wipe clean. They are firmer than foam beds, which some dogs like and others do not.

Who it is for: dogs that like a firm, cool surface, and owners who want easy cleaning.

• Pros: easy to clean, raised design, sturdy frame.
• Cons: firm surface, and dogs may need time to get used to it.

Verdict: good for easy cleanup and warm weather.
