Instant sells air fryers in basket and oven styles. The oven style gives more shelf space for things like sheet-pan meals. Think about whether you want the extra size and the larger footprint.

Who it is for: families who want more cooking options.

• Pros: flexible styles, good for batch cooking in oven-style models.
• Cons: oven styles take counter space.

Verdict: good for people who want more than a simple basket.
